August 2, 2024Indulge in a slice of Peach Ricotta Toast, featuring toasted artisanal bread smothered in creamy ricotta and topped with juicy, fresh peach slices, a drizzle of honey, sprinkle of brown sugar and bit of crunchy granola. This sweet treat makes for a delightful breakfast, lunch or snack!
We are deep into summer now, and that means peach season! I don’t know about you, but I always have the same problem – I’ll purchase a whole bag of peaches and then approximately a week after I bought them, they’ll all become ripe at once and then I must scramble to figure out what to do with them! This frequent conundrum has caused me to get creative and come up with some interesting peach recipes for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Enter: Peach Ricotta Toast – my latest peach creation! I love a ricotta toast – and like to dabble with making it savory or sweet. This sweet version is as simple to make as it is to die for. Whip it up in mere minutes and bask in the summer sun as you savor each and every delicious bite.
Everything You’ll Need to Make Peach Ricotta Toast
- Bread: For this toast, I used a thick slice of Italian Bread, but you can use whatever kind bread you prefer! Sourdough or thick-cut sandwich bread would also be delicious options.
- Ricotta: Creamy ricotta cheese makes a nice base for the toppings of this toast, plus it adds a nice boost of protein.
- Peach: One juicy ripe peach sliced thin is essential for this recipe! I used half of a peach per one slice of toast.
- Honey: A drizzle of honey adds a touch of sweetness to the toast – and you can really add as much or as little as you want!
- Brown Sugar: A little sprinkle of brown sugar adds even more sweetness and pairs perfectly with the juicy peach slices! But if you think your toast is sweet enough with just the honey, you can totally skip this topping.
- Granola: I also added a sprinkle of this Oats, Honey & Almonds granola from Aldi, but this step is also totally optional! Any kind of granola or even some candied nuts would be an excellent addition to this toast.
How to Make Peach Ricotta Toast
This toast is so quick and easy to make! Simply slice your bread and add it to the toaster. While you’re waiting for your bread to toast, slice up your peach. Once your bread is toasted, top it with ricotta, followed by sliced peaches, honey, brown sugar and granola – and enjoy!

Peach Ricotta Toast
Ingredients
- 1 slice Italian bread
- 2 tbsp ricotta
- 1/2 peach
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp granola
Instructions
- Slice bread and add it to the toaster.
- While you’re waiting for your bread to toast, thinly slice peach.
- Once bread is toasted, top slice with ricotta, followed by sliced peaches, honey, brown sugar and granola.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
