Everything You Need to Make Homemade Candied Nuts
- Mixed Nuts: You can choose any kind of variety of nuts you prefer! I usually use a variety pack from Aldi that contains peanuts, almonds, cashews, hazelnuts and pecans, but you can also use just one kind of nut if you prefer. You’ll need a 15-oz can or about three cups!
- Egg White: An egg white whisked together with water makes the perfect coating for the nuts to stick to all the sugar and spices.
- Sugar, Brown Sugar & Cinnamon: Two types of sugar, as well as cinnamon adds the deliciously sweet holiday flavor to these baked nuts!
- Vanilla Extract & Salt: A little vanilla goes a long way in this recipe! If you’re mixed nuts are salted, then no need to add any extra salt. If they are unsalted, I recommend adding a teaspoon to the mix.
How to Make Homemade Candied Nuts
