Homemade Candied Nuts

Made with sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon and a hint of vanilla, these Homemade Candied Nuts are perfectly sweet, crunchy and full of warm, cozy flavor!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 3 cups mixed nuts
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • sea salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Add egg white and 1 tbsp of water to a medium mixing bowl and whisk to combine. Add mixed nuts and stir to coat.
  • Add sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla and sea salt to bowl and combine thoroughly.
  • Pour mixture onto a large, well-oiled baking sheet and spread evenly. Bake for 10-15 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and stir before cooling to prevent nuts from sticking together.
  • Let cool for 10 minutes and gently toss with powdered sugar. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
