Everything You Need to Make White Cheddar Herb Biscuits & Honey Butter
- Flour, Baking Powder & Salt: The base of this recipe uses classic baking ingredients you probably have in your pantry!
- Garlic & Onion Powder: Add a little kick and extra flavor!
- Fresh Parsley & Rosemary: These fresh herbs add delicious flavor to the biscuits! If you don’t have these fresh herbs, you can use a teaspoon of dried instead.
- Salted Butter & White Cheddar: Freshly grated cold salted butter makes these biscuits extra buttery and flaky, while white cheddar gives them a deliciously savory flavor to complement the herbs.
- Whole Milk & Honey: Whole milk and honey make these fresh biscuits moist with a touch of sweetness! You could also use heavy cream in place of whole milk in this recipe.
- Honey Butter: Simply combine a stick of room-temperature salted butter with 2 tablespoons of honey to make this delicious honey butter to serve with your freshly baked biscuits!
How to Make White Cheddar Herb Biscuits & Honey Butter
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, rosemary and salt.
- Add Wet Ingredients: Add butter and white Cheddar and using your hands, mix until combined. Add milk and honey and continue to mix until just combined.
- Knead & Cut Dough: Turn dough onto a heavily floured surface and knead until a dough ball has formed. Pat dough into a 1-inch-thick round and use a 3-inch biscuit cutter to cut into rounds. Re-roll scraps as needed to use all dough.
- Bake: Place rounds on a well-greased baking sheet and brush with melted butter. Bake for ato 400 degrees F for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown and fluffy.
- Mix Honey Butter: While biscuits bake, combine butter and honey to make honey butter.
- Serve & Enjoy: Serve warm with honey butter and enjoy!

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley finely chopped
- 1 tbsp rosemary finely chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 6 tbsp cold salted butter grated (like cheese)
- 1 cup white cheddar cheese grated
- 1 cup whole milk (or heavy cream)
- 1 tbsp butter melted
For the Honey Butter
- 1 tbsp honey
- 8 tbsp butter (one stick) room temperature
