Total Time 40 minutes mins
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley finely chopped
- 1 tbsp rosemary finely chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 6 tbsp cold salted butter grated (like cheese)
- 1 cup white cheddar cheese grated
- 1 cup whole milk (or heavy cream)
- 1 tbsp butter melted
For the Honey Butter
- 1 tbsp honey
- 8 tbsp butter (one stick) room temperature
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, rosemary and salt.
Add butter and white Cheddar and using your hands, mix until combined. Add milk and honey and continue to mix until just combined.
Turn dough onto a heavily floured surface and knead until a dough ball has formed. Pat dough into a 1-inch-thick round and use a 3-inch biscuit cutter to cut into rounds. Re-roll scraps as needed to use all dough.
Place rounds on a well-greased baking sheet and brush with melted butter. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown and fluffy.
While biscuits bake, combine butter and honey to make honey butter.
Serve warm with honey butter!
