  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp rosemary finely chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 6 tbsp cold salted butter grated (like cheese)
  • 1 cup white cheddar cheese grated
  • 1 cup whole milk (or heavy cream)
  • 1 tbsp butter melted

For the Honey Butter

  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 8 tbsp butter (one stick) room temperature

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, rosemary and salt.
  • Add butter and white Cheddar and using your hands, mix until combined. Add milk and honey and continue to mix until just combined.
  • Turn dough onto a heavily floured surface and knead until a dough ball has formed. Pat dough into a 1-inch-thick round and use a 3-inch biscuit cutter to cut into rounds. Re-roll scraps as needed to use all dough.
  • Place rounds on a well-greased baking sheet and brush with melted butter. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown and fluffy.
  • While biscuits bake, combine butter and honey to make honey butter.
  • Serve warm with honey butter!
