Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl, add dry ingredients (flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice and salt) and stir.
In a separate medium mixing bowl, whisk together wet ingredients (pumpkin puree, eggs, vegetable oil, milk, vanilla extract and bourbon.)
Add wet ingredients to the bowl of dry ingredients and stir to combine. (It’s okay if the mixture stays a little chunky, try not to over-stir.)
Pour batter into a well-greased 9×5-inch loaf pan and bake for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes have passed, remove bread and top with brown sugar.
Return bread to the oven for 30-40 minutes and bake until golden brown. Let cool for 15-20 minutes before serving.
